Experience
I want students to come to our lessons with questions and an eagerness to learn. I believe it is important for me to teach concepts, rather than answers. With my students, I share problem-solving skills and my accumulated academic knowledge. This supports students in developing skills they can utilize academically and throughout life in general. Currently, I am studying as an undergrad with the University of Connecticut. I am earning my bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Through my years as a student, I have completed coursework in a wide array of subjects. I am well versed in calculus, algebra, and physics. I scored a 5 on the physics C, calculus AB, and statistics AP exams. I was on the honor roll through my high school and undergrad years. I also play the trombone. I had the opportunity to perform in Carnegie Hall as part of the Greater Bridgeport Youth Orchestra! I enjoyed my academic pursuits thus far, and sharing my knowledge as a tutor. I have worked with all levels of students, from young children to the high school level. I am available to tutor in material ranging from simple subtraction, multiplication, and addition, to high-level calculus. In my spare time, I like to play Frisbee and video games.
